Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts
1 large onion, chopped
1 c. shredded cheese (Monterey Jack and Cheddar)
8 oz. (approximately) spirals or shells pasta (enough pasta to fill a 13 x 9-inch pan)
1 or 2 garlic cloves, minced
2 small cans sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 to 3/4 c. Miracle Whip
1 can Durkee French fried onions (optional)
Preparation

Saute onions and garlic until softened.
Add the cubed chicken and brown; drain the fat and add the mushrooms.
Mix together with the cooked noodles and then add the remaining ingredients except the cheese and Durkee onions.
Mix thoroughly and spread into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until bubbly; top with cheese and Durkee onions.
Broil until cheese is melted.
