Dollie'S Indian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar together in a mixing bowl.
    Next cut in butter, then add buttermilk, egg and vanilla.
    Roll thin, cut in desired shape and bake on a greased cookie sheet in a hot oven.
    Watch closely to avoid overcooking.
