Kernel Corn Bread - cooking recipe

3/4 c. yellow corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. sifted enriched flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. fresh corn kernels
3 Tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Combine corn meal, baking powder, sugar, flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine eggs, milk, corn kernels and butter. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until mixed. Pour into a buttered casserole. Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 40 minutes. Serve hot.
