Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 well-beaten eggs
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. oatmeal
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla and eggs in a bowl and beat thoroughly.
    Add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Mix well and add oatmeal and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 350\u00b0
    oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool 2 minutes before removing from pan.
