Miracle Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg white, unbeaten
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, egg white and cream of tartar together.
    Add boiling water.
    Beat on high speed of electric mixer until stiff.
    Add vanilla; spread on cake.
    This will generously frost and fill an 8 or 9-inch cake.
