Aunt Mary'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks oleo or 2 sticks butter and 1 c. sour cream
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Let butter soften.
    Mix butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time while mixing.
    Sift baking powder, flour and salt together, then add slowly while mixing.
    Add vanilla.
    Preheat oven and start at 300\u00b0.
    Bake for 45 minutes, then decrease oven heat to 250\u00b0 and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
