Special Shortbread Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla until soft and creamy.
    Sift the flour; add gradually to butter mixture.
    Blend well.
    Chill for 2 hours.
    Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll between palms of hands to shape like fingers.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes or until light golden color.
    Transfer to cake rack to cool.
    Dust with powdered sugar.
