Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, water and salt in a saucepan.
    Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Increase the heat and boil steadily, without stirring, until thermometer reaches 265\u00b0 or until it forms a hard ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
