Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. grape or currant jelly
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Melt the margarine in a large heavy saucepan, similar to a Dutch oven.
    Add sugar and vinegar into the saucepan.
    Add a small amount of water.
    Add cabbage; simmer until very tender.
    Stir in jelly just before serving.
    If desired, more jelly can be added and also red food coloring.
    This cabbage freezes very well.
