Pasta Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box pasta shells
    1 medium pkg. white Northern beans
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce (can leave out if desired)
    1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
Preparation
    Sort beans; rinse well. Cook for 10 minutes. Drain, then add 8 to 10 cups water. Bring to boil, then turn on medium heat and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. When half done, add all of the ingredients. Cook another hour until beans are done, stirring occasionally. (Cook to thickness desired.)
