Easy Rice Almond Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    3 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    2 c. water
    1 c. rice
    4 Tbsp. Lipton golden onion soup mix
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In skillet, combine margarine and almonds. Saute until almonds are slightly brown.
    To this, add the remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to
    a boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer, cover and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
