Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cold water
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. Imperial margarine
1 pkg. seeded raisins
1/2 lb. gumdrops, cut in small pieces
1 c. nut meats
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Boil together first 4 ingredients for about 5 minutes; remove from stove and let cool.
Add gumdrops, cut in small pieces.
Add remainder of ingredients.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 in greased pan.
Makes 2 loaves.
