Pasta, Peas And Prosciutto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 medium shallots, chopped
    1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1/8 lb. Prosciutto, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can small peas
    salt and pepper
    grated cheese (Parmesan or Romano)
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Heat oil and saute shallots and garlic for 1 minute.
    Add Prosciutto; cook 5 minutes longer.
    Add tomato sauce and drained peas.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.
    Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and place in a large bowl.
    Mix with sauce.
    Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings.
