Creamed Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cream
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Put sugar, syrup, vanilla and 1/2 of cream in pan.
Stir constantly until it boils.
Add the rest of the cream slowly; don't let boiling cease.
Cook until soft ball forms in cold water.
Mix together (have this ready) the flour, cornstarch and butter.
Add flour mixture to syrup mixture; stir and continue to cook until a soft ball.
Put into buttered pan; cut when cooled.
