Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 c. granulated sugar
    lemon and orange slices
    1 bottle light rum
    1 bottle rhine wine
    1 bottle champagne
Preparation
    Wash and stem strawberries.
    Add sugar and rum and refrigerate overnight.
    One hour before serving, pour chilled champagne and chilled wine in punch bowl.
    Add strawberry fruit mixture and stir lightly.
    Float lemon and orange slices on top.
    Garnish cups with lemon and orange slices.
    Great for entertaining.
