Microwave Basic White Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
dash of nutmeg
2 Tbsp. flour
dash of white pepper (I use garlic pepper)
Preparation

Heat milk in glass measure on 70 (roast) 2 minutes.
Set aside, melt butter on High for 45 seconds.
Stir in flour and seasonings.
Cook on High 1 minute.
Briskly stir in warm milk. Cook on High 3 to 4 minutes or until boiling, stirring once during cooking.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serve on cooked vegetables or as a base for other sauces.
