Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. half and half
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whiskey
    1 jigger rum (1 oz.)
    1 jigger brandy (1 oz.)
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    In separate bowl, beat whipping cream until thick.
    In a large bowl (third), beat egg yolks with sugar and add liquors.
    Add half and half, egg whites and whipping cream and stir gently until well blended.
    Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
    If too thick, add more half and half.
    Can cut down on whiskey or omit as tastes dictate.
    Also can substitute milk for half and half to cut down on fat.
