Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. tomatoes
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    8 tsp. salt
    8 tsp. jalapenos
Preparation
    Cook 45 minutes.
    Cool 1/2 cup juice and add 3 tablespoons cornstarch.
    Cook until thick.
    Put into hot jars.
    Seal and turn upside-down until cool.
