Oatmeal Applesauce Bread(Diabetic) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. all-bran cereal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix oats, flour, all-bran, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Stir in applesauce, oil and eggs until blended.
Stir in raisins and nuts until well mixed.
Put into a lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out on rack to cool completely.
Yields one loaf (18 slices, 1/2-inch thick).
