Chopped Apple Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped apples (not too fine)
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    whipped cream topping
Preparation
    Combine oil, eggs and sugar; beat well.
    Set aside.
    Combine flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, salt and baking powder.
    Sift again.
    Add dry ingredients to oil-egg-sugar mixture, beating well after each addition.
    Mixture will seem very stiff. Add vanilla extract.
    Fold in apples and pecans.
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream topping.
