Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 or 8 sweet potatoes
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes in water at least 30 minutes.
When cold, peel and slice into baking dish.
Sprinkle on sugar and seasoning. Add butter and cover with water.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until thick syrup has formed.
