Ice Cream Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box ice cream sandwiches (10 to 12)
    1 large Cool Whip
    crushed candy bars (Butterfingers)
    chocolate syrup (optional)
Preparation
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, place 1/2 Cool Whip to form bottom layer.
    Arrange ice cream sandwiches on top of Cool Whip, cutting a few to fill small spaces.
    Cover with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with candy pieces.
    Freeze for several hours.
    Drizzle with chocolate syrup when serving if desired.
