Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks pure butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    8 oz. sour cream or 8 oz. cream cheese
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Measure flour and sift 3 times.
    Then sift it together with salt and baking powder.
    Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Cream well.
    Add flour alternately with cream cheese or sour cream to mixture.
    Add vanilla or use any desired flavoring.
    Bake in tube cake pan 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
