Pat M.'S Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. whipping cream
    salt and pepper
    1 c. (4 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter on high until lightly browned.
    Add 1/2 cup of cream and boil rapidly until slightly thickened.
    Reduce heat to medium.
    Add cooked, drained pasta and mix gently.
    Add 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup cream.
    Mix gently.
    Repeat with remaining cheese and cream.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    (Option: Top with nutmeg.)
