Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    1 small onion, chopped (optional)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion slightly.
    Alternate layers of meat mixture and potatoes in casserole dish until all are used.
    Add soup, salt and pepper.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Good for covered dish meals.
