1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1/4 (4 oz.) can mild jalapenos (optional)
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 to 4 fresh Serrano peppers, chopped
    1/4 large white onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 4 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
If you like chunky salsa, chop up peppers, onion and cilantro, and combine all ingredients.
Let stand in refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
If you like smooth salsa, place ingredients in a blender or food processor; process until pureed.
You control how hot the sauce is by the amount of peppers.
The sauce will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 2 weeks.
