Country Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 roll (12 oz.) sausage, regular or reduced fat
    6 slices bread, crust removed
    6 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. milk
    1 pkg. gravy mix (country or sausage)
    2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. melted butter, optional
    Paprika
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook crumbled sausage over medium heat until brown, stirring occasionally.
    Remove sausage and drain on paper towel.
    Spread sausage over bottom of a lightly greased 11 x 8-inch baking dish.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
    Set aside.
