Patriotic Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. berry blue-flavored jello
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    4 c. boiling water, divided
    2 1/2 c. cold water, divided
    2 c. sour cream
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In four separate bowls, dissolve each package of jello in 1 cup boiling water.
    Add 1/2 cup cold water to each and stir.
    Pour one bowl of blue jello into an oiled 10-inch fluted tube pan. Chill until almost set, about 30 minutes.
    Set the other three bowls of jello aside, at room temperature.
