Potato And Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potatoes
    1 (16 oz.) bag frozen peas
    2 stalks celery
    1 small onion
    water
    1/2 stick butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Pare potatoes; cut in small chunks.
    Fill a 2-quart pan about 3/4 full.
    Add water to top of potatoes.
    Add salt and pepper. Dice celery and onion fine; add to potatoes.
    Cook about 10 minutes, but do not boil.
    Put in peas and 1/2 stick of butter. Cook slowly (about 45 minutes) on low heat.
