Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. 3-minute oats
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Add oats to boiling water.
Let set while you mix the remaining ingredients.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs; add this mixture to the oatmeal mixture.
Add flour, soda, cinnamon and salt.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.
Icing for cake is a powdered sugar icing.
