Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. Karo syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add Karo syrup and beat well.
    Add vanilla flavoring and pecans.
    Pour into unbaked pie shells and top with pecan halves.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and cook another hour.
    Makes 2 pies.
