Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1/2 box pickling spice
    3 lb. cabbage
    12 red peppers (sweet or green)
    12 hot peppers
    1 qt. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    6 big onions
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grind cabbage, onions and pepper together.
    Grind tomatoes, squeeze juice out and mix with peppers.
    Mix all together and bring to a boil.
    Boil for 25 minutes; pack in jars.
