Sweet Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck green tomatoes (estimated 15 lb.)
    15 lb. onions
    15 lb. cabbage
    10 to 15 green and red sweet peppers (1 pepper per lb. of tomatoes)
    3/4 c. salt (non-iodized)
    6 pt. vinegar
    6 pt. sugar
    4 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, peppers, cabbage and onions.
    Pour salt over mixture and mix all together.
    Place mixture in cloth bag (pillow case) and hang outside (if not freezing) to drain overnight.
