Vanilla Butternut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
3 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk (add water to make 1 c.)
Preparation

Cream Crisco, sugar and oleo.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add flour and salt with milk.
Add flavoring.
Pour in a greased and floured tube pan.
Put in cold oven.
Set oven temperature at 350\u00b0. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Do not open the oven door while baking!
