Chicken With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut into pieces
    1 c. rice
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    salt and pepper as desired
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Place the water, salt and margarine in a 2-quart pan with a tight lid.
    Bring the water to a boil.
    Add the rice and stir; put the lid on the pan and turn the heat to low.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Do not take off the lid and do not stir again.
