Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lemon
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
1 (16 oz.) can canned milk
1 (16 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained well
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 graham cracker crust
Preparation

Make graham cracker crust; place in 13 x 9-inch pan or springboard pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grate rind from lemon and squeeze juice.
Mix rind and juice of lemon, applesauce, canned milk, pineapple and egg yolks.
Set aside.
Beat egg whites and gradually add sugar.
Fold this into the filling mixture.
Pour into crust.
Sprinkle an additional 1 to 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs on top.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Test with toothpick. Cool well before removing spring-board side.
