Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
onion
salt
1/2 c. barley
2 c. sliced carrots
2 c. diced celery
2 cans tomato soup
1 qt. green beans
Preparation

Brown ground beef.
Add onion and salt to taste.
Add barley, carrots, celery, tomato soup and green beans (including juice). You may have to add a can of water.
Simmer slowly until barley is cooked.
When vegetables are tender you can cover casserole with biscuits and bake until biscuits are done or serve as is.
Good with thick slices of homemade bread and butter.
