Velvet Hot Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    3 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light rum
    1/2 c. Amaretto
    whipped cream
    cinnamon sticks
Preparation
    Place chocolate in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts.
    Set aside. Combine milk, half and half and sugar in a saucepan.
    Scald mixture over medium heat.
    Gradually add 1 cup milk mixture to melted chocolate, stirring until smooth.
    Add chocolate mixture to remaining milk mixture.
    Stir in rum and amaretto.
    Top each serving with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
    Serves 5 cups.
