Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. berries and juice
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture. Next, add berries and vanilla and mix until all is well blended. Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
