Cabbage Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped bell pepper
1 c. thinly chopped celery
2 c. diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
1 qt. shredded cabbage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Melt butter in 10 or 12-inch skillet; add all ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender (approximately 10 minutes), stirring occasionally. Do not overcook. Serves 8.
