Jelly Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1/4 c. milk
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    raspberry jam
Preparation
    Cream together the brown sugar, shortening, milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Add the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Fill muffin cups 1/2 full.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon raspberry jam.
    Bake 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
