Mama'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
9-inch unbaked pastry shell

Preparation

Mix sugar, spices and salt, stir in sweet potatoes.
Combine eggs, milk and butter.
Add to sweet potato mixture.
Turn into pastry shell and bake in 400\u00b0 oven about 40 minutes, or until filling is set.
Yields one 9-inch pie.
Top and serve with whipped cream.
