Crabmeat Stuffing For Pepper Or Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Maine crabmeat
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon bits slowly until golden brown.
    Add onion and celery; cook on low heat until tender.
    Add bread and seasonings. Combine crabmeat and beaten eggs; add to first mixture, stirring to blend.
    Use this stuffing for baked stuffed peppers or tomatoes or acorn squash.
