Cocktail Franks In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. minced onions
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. dry sherry
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. chili sauce
    3 doz. cocktail franks
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Saute onions for 3 minutes or until clear.
    Blend in flour.
    Add wine, stirring steadily to boiling point.
    Mix in salt, thyme and sauce.
    Brown franks in skillet. Drain and add to sauce.
    Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Serve in casserole or chafing dish.
