Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, grated
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar (or use vinegar from sweet pickles)
    1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip dressing diluted with cream
    1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
    1 onion grated or chopped fine
Preparation
    Mix together the sugar, salt, vinegar and miracle whip.
    Add pepper and onion.
    Pour over cabbage and let stand 1/2 hour before serving.
