Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. each vinegar and soda
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix soda and vinegar and set aside.
    Mix cocoa, flour and dash of salt.
    Mix alternately to creamed mixture with buttermilk.
    Add last by hand, vinegar and soda mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in 2 greased and floured layer pans for 30 minutes.
