Fresh Spinach Pasta Toss - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 recipe Three-Step Homemade Pasta
    1 thinly sliced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine cup
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth or vegetable broth
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 c. fresh baby spinach or torn spinach
    1/4 c. shaved Asiago cheese or Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Prepare Three-Step Homemade Pasta; set aside.
    In a 4-quart Dutch oven, cook onion in butter over medium heat for 7 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.
    Add broth and pepper. Bring to boiling.
    Stir in the pasta.
    Top with spinach.
    Cook, covered, for 1 to 2 minutes more or until spinach and pasta are tender.
    To serve, ladle pasta into a bowl.
    Top with cheese. Makes 4 main dish servings.
