Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 large sweet potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks margarine or more if needed
    sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Boil sweet potatoes, cool; peel and slice potatoes.
    Starting with potatoes, put one layer in baking pan or casserole.
    Sprinkle sugar on top, followed with pats of margarine until covered. Continue with potatoes, sugar and margarine alternately.
    When that process is completed, sprinkle vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
