Date Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pitted dates
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Place dates and water in pan to boil.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Mix flour and sugar together and place in date mixture until thickened; boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in lemon juice. Place mixture in pie crust and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 425\u00b0.
