Sicilian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    1 can mushroom pieces, drained
    1 1/4 lb. boneless chicken, skin removed
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped and drained
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Heat oil; add onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
    Cook 10 minutes.
    Cut chicken into 2-inch pieces.
    Add to onion mixture. Cook, stirring until pinkness is gone.
    Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
